St. Lawrence school has an open, non-discriminatory admissions policy. The school will accept students based on the following priorities:
first, students from families in St. Lawrence Parish; second, students from families that are members of parishes in the area; third, other
students who request to be enrolled. St. Lawrence seeks a qualified, diverse student body who add to the quality of academic, religious, and social life of St. Lawrence School.
ALL students admitted to St. Lawrence School must satisfy the following criteria:
Pre-school students must be 4 years old before they begin.
Kindergarten students must be 5 years old on or before July 1 preceding the academic year of enrollment.
All students new to St. Lawrence School will be tested for appropriate grade placement in our program.
All new students must have academic records from previous schools attended and must have health records before being admitted to classes.
To remain in school and to comply with state laws, all students must have on file each year by September 15 a record of all necessary immunizations.
All students must be registered through the main office before their first day's attendance. Teachers may not admit students (new or returning) without the appropriate registration slip completed by parent or guardian.
All students whose parents/guardians are not contributing parishioners must pay fees and monthly tuition payments.
