Mrs. Guntle - Art
Welcome to a brand new year in Art!
Hello! My Name is Liz Guntle and I am the Art teacher at St. Lawrence School. I am Roman Catholic, and enjoy teaching
in a faith based school. I teach Pre-K through 8th grade. Our art curriculum, at St. Lawrenc, is based on Disciplined Based Art Education.
That includes art history, art production, art criticism and aesthetics. The emphasis is on the life of the artist, and creating
a project in a style similar to the artist's. A monthly newsletter describes what we have been doing, and contains pictures of art work and student working.
We maintainan art web page, with photographs of art work, and a brief summary each month. Also, we have an Art Club, for grade 3 and up,
that meets once a month starting in October.
