Mrs. Pat Allen
My name is Pat Allen and I am the Pre-School teacher. I have been teaching at St. Lawrence School since 1989. My husband and I are members of St. Lawrence Church and we have one daughter.

Mrs. Joan McKinley
I am Mrs. McKinley. I have taught Kindergarten at St. LawrenceSchool since 1979.  Both my son and daughter, Jamie and Sara, attended St. Lawrence from PreK thru the 8th grade.  I hold a Bachelor and
Masters degree in education from Ball State University.  My Masters degree included a Kindergarten endorsement.  Welcome to our great school!

Mrs. Karen Moore
Hi, I am Karen Moore the first grade teacher here at St Lawrence School.  I am a graduate of Ball State with a Bachelors and Masters degree in Education. I have been teaching here since 1977.  I have three children Brett Moore, Dr. Michelle Cropper, and Melissa Tate. Both my girls attended SLS.  I have seven grandchildren Kyle, Tyler and Kiana Moore, Alex and Natalie Cropper, and Justin and Kaylin Tate.  Kyle and Tyler are graduates of SLS. My four younger grandchildren will soon be attending SLS in the future.

Mrs. Kathy Brinson
I started teaching at St. Lawrence School in 1977. I am a native of LaPorte, IN, a Ball State University graduate and taught one year at St. Mary School, Anderson before coming to Muncie. I teach second grade and love being the teacher for the Sacrament Class. The Sacrament Class receives the sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Eucharist during the Second Grade year. My two children attended St. Lawrence from Pre-School through 8th grade. Being at St. Lawrence has been such a blessing, and I look forward to staying until I teach my grandchildren!

Mrs. Ashley Eaton
Hi, My name is Ashley Eaton and this is my 4th year at SLS. Before coming to St. Lawrence I worked as a Reading Recovery teacher and Title 1 assistant at Marengo Elementary in Marengo, Indiana. My husband,
Chris, and I attend St. Lawrrence Church. We have one daughter.

Mrs. Cristina Jones
Hi, my name is Cristina Jones, and I teach the fourth grade.  I have been teaching at St. Lawrence since 1974.  I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Piedmont College in Georgia and my Master’s Degree from Ball
State University.  I am married to Jim, have two sons, and three grandsons.  I enjoy traveling, reading, walking, and being with my family.  My two sons went to St. Lawrence.  I love teaching and getting to know the families of St. Lawrence.

Mrs. Gail Gayda
Hi, I am Gail Gayda, the fifth grade teacher at St. Lawrence School.  I received a Bachelor’s Degree from Purdue University and nearly completed a Master’s program at Winona State University in Winona, MN.  My husband, Norm, and I have two grown daughters and seven grandchildren who are the love of my life.I love cooking and entertaining and most of all, being in the classroom. I feel so blessed to be here with this great staff and awesome group of students.

Mrs. Liz Guntle
My Name is Liz Guntle and I have been the Art teacher at St. Lawrence School since Sept., 2000. I m Catholic, and enjoy teaching in a faith based school. I teach Pre-K through 5th grade art. Our art curriculum includes art history, art production, art criticism and aesthetics. We read about and look at art through Smart Board programing, and do art work based on what we have learned. A monthly newsletter
describes what we have been doing, and contains pictures of art work and student working. We maintain an art web page, with photographs of art work, and a brief summary each month.

Mrs. Janet Sells
I am a Muncie native and have lived here most of my life. I attended St. Lawrence School for nine years. My mother and her mother both attended SLS. I graduated from Muncie Southside High School and entered Ball State University to study Elementary Education. After I graduated from BSU, I taught at St. Ambrose School for three years. After this position position, I worked at the Muncie Public Library as a librarian.  My boss at the library introduced me to my husband, Ron. We have been married since 1976. Our son, Ryan attended St. Lawrence School from Preschool through 8th grade. I enjoy cross-stitch, reading and working
out at Modern Lady. My husband and I often spend time walking along the bike trail by White River.

Mr. Jason Hart
My name is Jason Hart. I started teaching at St. Lawrence in 2000. A native of Portland, Indiana, I am a Ball State University graduate. In addition to teaching music for all grades at St. Lawrence, I also direct the children’s choir and have been the music director at St. Lawrence Church since 2002.  I am married to a St. Lawrence School Alum, Maria (Landis) and we have two children, Lucia and Elijah.

Mrs. Natalie Reece
My name is Natalie Reece an I have taught Physical Education at St. Lawrence School since 1993.  I graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education.  My husband, Dave and I have two lovely daughters, Elizabeth and Hayley.  I enjoy teaching students about fitness and sports.

Mrs. Amy Reed
I am Amy Reed.  I joined the St. Lawrence staff in 2011.  In addition to teaching Spanish, I also work for The Star Press Newspaper.

Mrs. Deb Norris
I am Deb Norris. I have been at Saint Lawrence since 1999. I presently instruct Technology Classes and Keyboarding. I  served as the Athletic Director from 2003 until 2009.  I have two grandchildren that
attended Saint Lawrence School. My granddaughter, Angelika, graduated as a 7th grader in 2008, and my grandson, Jaren, graduated as a 5th grader in 2010. I feel privileged to be part of a truly dedicated staff!

Mrs. Cindy Miller
My name is Cindy Miller and I am the Administrative Assistant. I was born and raised in Muncie and have been a member of St. Lawrence since 1989. I have one son who is a State Trooper and married.

Mrs. Karen Albertson
My name is Karen Albertson. I am a lifelong member of St. Lawrence Church and a graduate of St. Lawrence School. I have been employed as a cook at the school since 1984.   My husband Randy and I have 5 children (Jim, Scott, John, Marie, and Joseph). They also are graduates of St. Lawrence School. We also have 7
grandchildren (Nick, Tyler, Kayla, Christian, Kaleigh, Abigail and Alyssa).

Mrs. Shameka Gordon
My name is Shameka Gordon. I started working in Cafe SLS in 2007. I graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1995. I have had a few college classes, also. I do a lot of volunteering in my spare time because to much is given much is required. I am a pagent coach also. I look forward to working with the wonderful students of St. Lawrence Catholic School.

Mrs. Meisa Cope
My name is Meisa Cope and I have been working at St. Lawrence since 2009. I love it!! I’ve been with my husband Kevin since 1992, and we have one wonderful son, C.J. Our entire family loves St. Lawrence and we
think it’s the best school around!!!

Mrs. Sandy Pederson
Hi, my name is Sandy Pedersen and I have lived in Muncie all of my life. I am married to Russ Pedersen and we have two children at St. Lawrence, Danielle and Sloan. I earned a BS degree from the University
of North Carolina and a Masters Degree from Ball State. Our family enjoys camping, swimming & bicycle rides together.

Mrs. Linda Mixell
We joined the SLS staff on October 19, 1999. We enjoy working at St. Lawrence School as custodians.  We have a hobby of model trains. We both enjoy watching the children at St. Lawrence School. We look forward to the Fall Festival each year!  We enjoy
watching the basketball team in the middle of the school year. Also, we enjoy all the art work on the walls. We enjoy our job and the people we work with!  We are proud to be a part of St. Lawrence School.
